About Us

North Star Outreach Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Hampton, Virginia, was founded with a simple belief: when people feel supported, connected and seen, communities become stronger.

Our organization is dedicated to serving individuals and families through meaningful community outreach, family-centered events, charitable initiatives, and access to resources that help meet real needs.

Like the North Star that has guided people for generations, we strive to be a source of hope, direction, and connection within the communities we serve. The anchor in our identity represents the stability and support we hope to provide, reminding our neighbors that even during difficult seasons, they do not have to navigate them alone.

Through community events, seasonal giving initiatives, food and essential-resource distributions, youth and family activities, partnerships, and other outreach efforts, North Star Outreach works to create opportunities for people to connect, receive support, and experience the strength of community. 

We believe outreach is more than giving something away. It is about showing up, building relationships, creating joyful experiences, and helping people feel supported right where they are.
